Obituary for Craig Alan Peterson

Craig A. Peterson of Kenosha, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019.

Craig was born on February 16, 1963 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Growing up in Waukegan, Illinois Craig was involved in swimming and Boy Scouts and earned his Eagle Scout award. Craig graduated from Waukegan East High School in 1981 and entered the Army where he continued a proud family tradition of service.

Craig was an avid Chicago Bears and NASCAR fan and loved hunting and fishing. Craig was an extremely talented billiards player and competed on teams for the American Pool Association in Lake County, Illinois. Craig was a legend in the Kenosha Pocket Billiard League (K. P. B. L.) earning awards and recognition including shooting a rare perfect 27 game. Craig was extremely successful in tournaments locally and in Las Vegas.

Craig’s proudest accomplishments were his daughters, Amanda and Megan Peterson, who he shared his hobbies with. Craig enjoyed being a grandfather to Ryan. Craig is also survived by his sisters Kelly (Kevin) Stanbary and Sherry Peterson, his aunt and godmother Roberta (Ray) Carson and his cousins.

Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Irene A Peterson.

Craig enjoyed spending time with his friends at Fec’s and in his pool leagues and considered them family as well.
