Obituary for Leonard Dale Zapp

Leonard Dale Zapp
Leonard D. Zapp, 59, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at his residence.
Born in Kenosha, on June 8, 1958, he was the son of Martin Zapp and Elaine (Henkel) and Robert Schlosser. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools.
Leonard was employed at Nosco Inc. in Waukegan as a Die Cutter. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed maintaining his lawn (and if you were lucky, he would make yours look just as nice), going to the casino and gambling, and helping others with his handyman skills.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Zapp; children, Tara (Chadwick Forbes) Zapp, Karen Sarmiento, and Don Nudi; mother, Elaine Schlosser; grandchildren, Jacob and McKenzie Forbes, and Briana, Domenic, Lillian, and Everly Nudi; and his three siblings, Lorraine (Clarence) Marzini, Leroy (Susan) Zapp, and Larry Zapp. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Martin Zapp; and step-father, Robert Schlosser.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, at Proko Funeral Home, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 4th, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 9091 Prairie Ridge Blvd, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Aurora at Home Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
