John has been a Funeral Director for more than five decades and is the proud founder of Proko Funeral Home. John is very active in the Kenosha community, currently a member of the Kenosha Serra Club, the Kiwanis Club of Western Kenosha, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life committee, the Board of the Boy Scouts Rescue Squad, and the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association. John formerly served as President of the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association, the Kenosha Chamber of Commerce and the Kenosha Public Museum. In 2002, the Kenosha Chamber of Commerce named him Business Man of the Year. John and his wife Maggie are very involved at St. Mary Catholic Church. They have six children and 11 grandchildren.

President and owner of Proko Funeral Home, Larry has been a funeral director since 1982. He is past-president of the Kiwanis Club of Western Kenosha, the Wisconsin State Representative of the International Order of the Golden Rule, and a member of the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association. In the past, Larry has served as President of the Wisconsin State Funeral Directors Association and was the state's representative on the National Funeral Directors Association Policy Board. He has also served on the boards of the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce and the Girl Scout Council of Kenosha County. Larry and his wife Tammy are members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, and the parents of two daughters.

Rachael has worked at Proko Funeral Home since 2004. She is a recent graduate of Milwaukee Area Technical College's Mortuary Science program. She also graduated with a business degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2006. Rachael is a member of Kenosha Rotary Club, Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.

Pete has been a valuable member of the Proko Funeral Home staff since 1991. He is a Funeral Director and also acts as our Pre-Planning Counselor. Pete has served as president of the Southeastern Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association and attends Kenosha Bible Church in Kenosha. In his spare time, he enjoys mead and wine making. Pete and his wife Michelle (daughter of Proko's own Joyce Stella) have a son and daughter.

We have been lucky to have Jim on the Proko Funeral Home staff as a Funeral Director since 2001. He is a member of the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association, the First Presbyterian Church in Kenosha, and serves on the Funeral Service Advisory Board at MATC. In the past, Jim has been very active with the Town of Somers Fire and Rescue Department and currently serves as the Somers Town Chairperson. He and his wife Sharon have a grown son and daughter.

Scott has been in the funeral industry since 1988, being a licensed funeral director since 1993 and joined the staff at Proko Funeral Home in 2009.  Scott is a member of the Kenosha Conservation Club and is a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.  Scott lives in Racine and is married and has a son.
